Status: Design Study
Description: “Mga Kwento ni Tito Dok” is a book series aimed at teaching kids about health. We were asked to do character designs and animation. We were so excited about the project that we already thought of background stories, quirks, and mannerisms for each of the characters. Too bad the project didn’t push through.
Co-Founder and animator of Chibibotoons. An Industrial Engineer who channeled all he learned in optimization into a career in graphic design and animation. Painstakingly teaching himself, learning the tricks of the trade. With motivation from his family and a passion and appreciation for everything cool and pretty (like his wife), Brando “Dok” de Leon is now an animator, a designer, an illustrator… and a guy who doesn’t like talking about himself in the third person.
This is my KUNG-FU… Through the years, I have been with a lot of masters. I’ve learned a lot from them and I was able to come up with my own style of “THE ART”. I am now a master of the “Finger Hovering Over the Left Mouse Button While Asleep In Front of the Computer” Technique (I have to remember to put that on my resume). I have been involved with a lot of projects over the years – from web design and character development to animation. This site is a venue for some of those projects.
